Plates These are 1 of 1 printing plates used to create trading cards. The cards are made using 4 printing plates, Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow. The printing plates are randomly inserted as incentive cards in trading card packs, and there are only one of each color for each card out there, so collecting up all four is a spectacular and rare occurance. Collecting all 4 is called having a 'Rainbow', and I have only one. As actual production work, and unique, I find them very interesting. Magenta and Cyan usually look the prettiest, but some find the Black cards to be the most desirable, since they look like a sketch and often have the words printed the most clearly, with yellow generally being the least desirable color. I find that it generally depends on the cards themselves. I tend to like the Magenta and Cyan ones the best. |
